http://www.twitter.com/karineardaultI have fallen in love with photography as a teenager but it is in 2005 that I started seriously photography. I had just moved to Tanzania and this country was the perfect place to get serious about this art. What started as a hobby as I have a full time job in a non-related to photography field is now taking most of my life.
I started with an Olympus E-500. As much as I have loved to work with this camera (I think the captor cleansing system has been made for people living in Africa, especially during the dusty dry season!) when it came to upgrade my gear I switched to a Nikon D300 (I already had experience with a F70 many years back). For photo shoots I also use a Nikon D300s.
Besides my beloved Nikon gear, I work with a Rolleiflex 2.8F, a Mamiya C220, 2 Zorki S and a Zorki 3S. I also enjoy working with my Polaroid cameras such as the Polaroid 600SE which I use with peel-apart films, the polaroid EE100, a Land 100, a SX-70 and a Holga camera. The latest additions to my photo tools are a wooden 4x5 Field Camera and some cameras from the beginning of the 20th century.
I sell my fine art photographs directly through my shop (which will reopen soon).
All my photographs are printed with archival ink on professional photo paper selected for their longevity and quality.
When printing photographs at home I am using a HP Photosmart Pro B9180 Printer with archival ink and papers. For larger format, I use the services of a professional photo lab with the same quality standards.
Further to fine art photography, I can be commissioned for weddings, portrait sessions, events and commercial photography. I like to clhallenge my creativity with stylized photoshoots. I am also happy to give my time and my skills for the PR aspects of Charities. Do not hesitate to contact me.
